The orphanage is a residential institution, or group home, devoted to the care of orphans and other children who were separated from their biological families. The role of legal responsibility for the support of children whose parents have died or are otherwise unable to provide care differs internationally. The NCC cadets of Navy, Army & Air force along with the Commanding Officer, ANO’s, and staffs of NCC, Port Blair visited the Old age home at Abhudaya Complex, Ferrargunj on 28th October 2016.
The use of government-run orphanages has been phased out in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and in the European Union member-states during the latter half of the 20th century but continue to operate in many other regions internationally. I visited an Orphanage for the Children and Old aged at Ferrargunj about 30 km from Port Blair.
An orphanage is a place where children without parents are cared for and housed. If a child has no parents — because the parents died or lost custody — the child is considered an orphan. Orphans are parent-less. An orphanage is an institution that takes care of orphans. It`s heartbreaking to imagine what those poor souls might feel, we stand for the WELFARE of orphans, destitute and underprivileged in the Andaman every orphan child and old age orphan who comes to the Love Children Orphanage and after the wedding of the child, her parents give up the orphanage. Because the children are Irritating with their parents, that`s why her parents to live its Orphanage.
The Andaman Islands by which hundreds of Children become orphans while their parents are still alive. In most of the case, the mother runs with another man and father runs with another woman by which there is no one to look after the children. We are committed to provide a bright future to such children and mold them as good citizens of our nation.
Note: The hunger for love is much more than the hunger for bread.
